​It is important to work as one to complete marine lead initiatives, which includes working as a team within the department and working alongside our neighbouring communities as well. We use the knowledge that has been shared with us by different Nations and Elders to guide our work. By embracing these relationships, using this shared knowledge, and bringing ‘Uy’ shqwaluwun (good feelings) to our work we have been able to steward Pauquachin’s lands and lead many marine projects.
